Hi,

Mario Holbe and I have created a debian package for cgiirc
nearly from scratch.
I've only used the long description from the initial post
on this ITP.

Our current package is at
<http://sandbox.fem.tu-ilmenau.de/debian/>.

We've also found a debian developer, who is willing to
sponsor the upload.

So unless someone says something within a week, we'll try
to upload the package and thus close this wnpp/itp.
