I would very much like to maintain that package (and have got an Amilo 7400). 
However, I am not (yet) an official debian developer. Since this package is 
very near to your ipw2100-source package, I would like to ask you if you 
could imagine to be my sponsor. Otherwise I'll ask at  
debian-mentors@lists.debian.org.
