Package: wnpp
Version: N/A; reported 2004-01-11
Severity: wishlist

I am considering if I should upload the chkconfig packages used in
Skolelinux into the archive.

* Package name    : chkconfig
  Version         : 1.2.24h
  Upstream Author : B. Thomas Adler <thumper@alumni.caltech.edu> and RedHat
* URL             : http://www.buttsoft.com/~thumper/downloads/chkconfig/
* License         : GPL
  Description : A system tool for maintaining the /etc/rc*.d hierarchy.

    Chkconfig is a basic system utility. It updates and queries runlevel
    information for system services. Chkconfig manipulates the numerous
    symbolic links in /etc/rc.d, to relieve system administrators of some
    of the drudgery of manually editing the symbolic links.

The current package is available from
<URL: ftp://ftp.skolelinux.no/skolelinux/dists/woody/local/binary-i386/non-official/ >.

We decided not to use this package in Debian Edu, so I close this ITP.
