Bug#148764: would like to hijak buddy -- Shared library for manipulating Binary-decision diagrams

Hello,

I'd like to package another application that depends on buddy.  So, if 
you are not planning to get this uploaded to Debian, I'd like to do so 
myself.

It's been a year or so since you filed the bug, so unless I hear 
otherwise I'll move forward on this in about a week or so.
