S/ for GNOME// - belongs in the long description, if at all.

"configure-thinkpad is a tool to make configuring hardware features of
the IBM ThinkPad easier. Currently it only configures power management,
but it will be extended in the future to cover other features, such as
{...}."

The last sentence seems useless to the average user. If you insist on
including GNOME information, though, just say "configure-thinkpad is a
GNOME application."
