jaabc2ps is a fork of a fork of abc2ps. I took the description provided by the 
program. It is also the only software I know ablo to produce tablatures for 
tin whistles :) There are many programs out there able to proceed ABC files, 
about 95% of them are based on the code of abc2ps.
