  Package name : esmtp
  Version : 0.4.1
Upstream Author : José Fonseca <j_r_fonseca@yahoo.co.uk>
  URL : http://esmtp.sourceforge.net/
  License : LGPL
Description : User configurable relay-only MTA

ESMTP is a user configurable relay-only Mail Transfer Agent (MTA) with a
sendmail-compatible syntax. It's based on libESMTP supporting the AUTH
(including the CRAM-MD5 and NTLM SASL mechanisms) and the StartTLS SMTP
extensions.

See the URL above for more info on what differentiates this program from
similar ones.

I'm the upstream author but not a debian maintainer. I've already made a
debian package for this software. It follows the debian policy to the
best of my knowledge/abilities (in special the MTA section), makes
lintian happy and has debconf support. It is available from
http://jrfonseca.dyndns.org/debian .

The 0.4.1 version has not been released yet. It's mostly debian
packaging fixes plus a new manpage, and I'll release once the debian
package is fully ready to be uploaded.
