I'll be reading your diff and investigating CDBS today. I have gotten in touch with the current icecast-server maintainer; we have agreed that, for the time being, it makes sense to carry both icecast 1 and 2 in Debian, hence the non-conflicting packaging. I'm aware of the woody backport issues regarding --list-missing; see my recent post on the icecast mailing list for my backport packages. I'll probably remove that flag from the packages, since it doesn't seem to be doing much of anything useful for them.
