Package: wnpp
Version: N/A; reported 2003-01-19
Severity: wishlist

* Package name    : ng-utils
  Version         : 0.3
  Upstream Author : Petter Reinholdtsen <pere@hungry.com>
* URL             : ftp://ftp.hungry.com/pub/hungry/ng-utils/
* License         : GPL
  Description     : portable netgroup utilities

>From the README:

    These tools give convenient access to netgroups from the command
    line. The programs innetgr and netgroup are supposed to be
    identical to the NetBSD equivalent. This package was created to
    make these nice programs available on all the platforms I'm using
    at the moment.

I am the upstream author of this package, but believe it is wise to
let someone else maintain the package in Debian to have more eyes
checking to make sure the software work as expected. I will assist
the Debian maintainer to make this a good quality package.

The source and CVS already contains rules to create a debian package,
so I hope there should be little work left before this package can be
uploaded into Debian.
