Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist

* Package name    : vaiostat
  Version         : 1.2
  Upstream Author : Paul McAvoy <paulmcav@queda.net>
* URL             : http://queda.net/linux/vaiostat
* License : GNU GPL v2 or later
  Description : Sony Vaio status and control kernel module

This module creates some entries in /proc/vaio concerning battery /
power usage information, and LCD brightness levels on Sony Vaio laptops.
Although on newer laptops this information is handled by ACPI as well,
this module is required for some older ones, and still works on the
newer ones.

I have some preliminary packages available at
http://people.debian.org/~piman - Since this is the first module I've
packaged I'd be interested in feedback (since I'm probably going to make
another one in the near future).

Thanks.
