procmail and perl scripts specifically designed to "sanitize" your email against
certain email-based attacks.

Currently checks for:
 browser (HTML-based) attacks
 .exe attachments are renamed
 buffer overflow attacks
 embedded shell commands
 trojan horse attacks (with known attachment names)
 MSOffice attachments with "suspicious" macros

available from http://www.impsec.org/email-tools/procmail-sanitizer.tar.gz
under the GPL.
