retitle 156614 ITP: heroine -- Complete audio and video production environment thanks. I've been interested in this program since I first saw it as bcast2000. The packaging looks slightly nontrivial as it includes several libraries which it links together statically, some of which are mmx optimized. The good news is that I have already gotten it to build from source(on x86) with only a few modifications. Porting may or may not be easy, since they use nasm in the build process... I haven't look that deeply into the build environment yet. I definately think this needs to be in debian and am somewhat surprised it has not been packaged yet. Therefore I am tentitively asserting an ITP. If anyone feels that they are super qualified to maintain the package and have the time, by all means email me and I'd be more than happy to let you package it. I also currently do not have access to any video capture hardware, including firewire devices. If anyone has access to these and would be interested in being a co-maintainer to help with any possible bug reports, you'd be more than welcome. otherwise I hope to have an initial package ready by sometime next week :) -m
