unzoo uses different parameters, e.g. "unzoo -l a.zoo" vs. "zoo v a.zoo"
and "unzoo -x a.zoo" vs. "unzoo x a.zoo".
List format seems to be almost identical:
schoepf@ganymed:~$ unzoo -l gp.zoo
Length CF Size Now Date Time
-------- --- -------- --------- --------
2531 34% 1678 4 Mar 91 12:22:02 README
390 32% 265 20 Feb 91 14:42:44 tex/Makefile
...
-------- --- -------- --------- --------
697352 45% 381953 17 files
schoepf@ganymed:~$ zoo v gp.zoo
Archive gp.zoo:

390 32% 265 20 Feb 91 14:42:44+61 tex/Makefile

The unzoo deb is currently sitting in
ftp-master.debian.org:/org/ftp.debian.org/queue/new/unzoo_4.4-1_i386.deb
It contains a README that has a section about compatibility with
zoo/booz.
Eduard Bloch <edi@gmx.de> indicated that he would add support for it to
the unp package. Maybe that can be used by amavis, too.
