Bug#144302: ITP: alsa-xmms -- XMMS plugin for ALSA 0.9

Ah. You seem to be thinking of xmms-aalsa, which AFAIK is unrelated.
(It supported an older version of ALSA and had a completely different
author, whose name does not appear in the code I have.) While this
plugin apparently has some bugs of its own, I don't think it's nearly
so toxic.

I'll continue to hold off anyway, per <knghtbrd>'s warning, because
this package is far from urgent.
