The current maintainer of stlport4.1beta6, ,
is apparently not active anymore[*]. Therefore, I orphan this package
now. If you want to be the new maintainer, please take it -- retitle
this bug from 'O:' to 'ITA:', fix the outstanding bugs and upload a
new version with your name in the Maintainer: field and a

   * New maintainer (Closes: #thisbug)

in the changelog so this bug is closed.

Some information about this package:

Package: stlport4.1beta6
Binary: libstlport-dev, libstlport4.1, libstlport4.1-dbg
Version: 4.1beta6-1
Priority: optional
Section: libs

Description: STLport
STLport is a open-source, volunteer-driver project. Its goal is to
build complete, multiplatform ANSC C++ Standard Library with SGI STL
code base. From this base, it inherits the following advanteges :
+ Advanced technology for maximum efficiency
+ Exception safety and thread safety
 + Standard compliance and reliability
+ Important extensions - hash tables, singly-linked list, rope
 .
For more information on STLport visit the web page
 http://www.stlport.org/ .

[*] Justification: the maintainer currently has 17 open RC bugs (not
counting those fixed in NMUs). Several NMUs were done, at least two
packages (pwlib, usbview) have already been hihacked, the maintainer
does not respond to mails.

Hello,

I have uploaded stlport4.5. Since no package seems to depend on the
buggy beta packages [lib]stlport4.1*, the files of version 4.1 can be
removed from the ftp server. Raphael Bossek is the (no more active)
maintainer of the package.
