Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist

maniac will generate fortune datafiles from /var/lib/dpkg/available,
which records all available packages information on a debian gnu
system. the output is suitable for fortune to display on a random
basis. thus could hopefully ease the life of the package-seeking
maniacs. (and i know many of the freshmeat lovers belong to this
category!)

the author wrote this simpleminded utility to learn debian packaging
and you could imagine the remains.. so don't be too nervous. ;-)

It's at:

Best regards,
zhaoway
