Bug#95707: ITP: xpm2wico -- the XPM to Windows .ico converter
>> I don't know. I didn't know that command before.
>> I will test it and see how it works...
> It's in the package netpbm, just in case you can't find it.
Ok. I can see 4 advantages of xpm2wico over the utility you told me:
- xpm2wico is distributed under the GNU GPL;
- it has a strong philosophical meaning and was written with love;
- it supports transparency;
- it is easier to use: no pipe, no intermediate format.
I can see two advantages of the pgmtowindowsicon over xpm though:
- the pgm...on has a direct opposite to converts windows icon back to
xpm;
- it permits to convert to and from a wider range of file-formats;
