Re: Create packages with Staging Patches.



I already tried to create a wine-staging package but it fails somewhere and i don't find the cause. I use "debian" from Ubuntu launchpad and modify it, there isn't problem.
I attach the debian folder created with "wine-development 3.16" debian folder.

How to test it :
1- download and extract wine 3.16 from winehq.com
2- download wine-staging here : https://github.com/wine-staging/wine-staging/archive/v3.16.tar.gz and apply the patches by "wine-staging-3.16/patches/patchinstall.sh DESTDIR=./wine-3.16 --all"
3- build the package with my debian folder.

See the error in the log.

It would be much more practical to package wine-staging itself, and
yes it could be certainly be done if someone had the interest to do
so.
