version: 1.8.1-2 control: retitle -1 wine: sporadic screen garble Hi Fulano > i can't keep track of which wine versions work and which do not We make several packaging changes atm which sometimes turn out to have issues - given that we are in the mid of the stretch release process this is the right time now. But maybe we/users should use more often release critical bug status to keep testing in a working state. You may have a look a the version in jessie-backports, there I try to only push packages without regressions (and haven't pushed therefore for quite a time). However I guess we are very close to better than ever wine packages. > see screngrab as an example Wine 1.8.1-1 (stretch) has some issues with fonts. Try installing libfontconfig1:i386 (next to libfontconfig1:amd64). This should help, and will be done automatically in 1.8.1-2, which is still in unstable. If this doesn't help my next guess would be that you are hit by #814844 (the fonts provided by wine itself are not found). Workaround for that: create a symlink, see that bugreport for details. Please give feedback, if and how you solved the issue. Greets jre
