Control: reopen -1 Control: found -1 1.6.2-16 Control: severity -1 important This bug seems not to be fixed in wine 1.6.2-16: $ wine dxdiag.exe Segmentation fault wine also crashes on all games I've tried, that's why I increase the severity to important. I'm not sure if all of them require OpenGL or Direct3D though. The wine debug log when I try to run dxdiag is attached. When I run wine in gdb it strangely does not segfault with dxdiag (and even at least one of the games also seems to run): $ export WINEPREFIX=/local/wine/test $ export WINELOADER=/usr/bin/wine32 $ export WINEDEBUG=-all $ /usr/bin/wine32 dxdiag.exe Segmentation fault $ gdb /usr/bin/wine32 GNU gdb (Debian 7.7.1+dfsg-5) 7.7.1 [..] Reading symbols from /usr/bin/wine32...(no debugging symbols found)...done. (gdb) run dxdiag.exe Starting program: /usr/bin/wine32 dxdiag.exe [Thread debugging using libthread_db enabled] Using host libthread_db library "/lib/i386-linux-gnu/i686/cmov/libthread_db.so.1".
