Package: wine
Version: 1.0.1-3
Severity: normal

Hi,

with ia32-libs 20100914 the ia32-libs-dev package has been
reintroduced and contains the correct *.so links, *.la files and
static libraries directly from the respective -dev packages. That
means the links won't break on every update anymore. I compiled wine
against ia32-libs-dev 20100914 and ia32-libs-gtk 20100914
successfully.

I'm pushing to get that version into squeeze but the Release team
might not accept it. Either way the wine in unstable should
Build-Depend on the ia32-libs-dev package from now on.

A similar split for ia32-libs-gtk (giving ia32-libs-gtk-dev) is planed
but not yet done to avoid the NEW processing delay. The .so links are
autogenerated already though, just still in ia32-libs-gtk itself.

That caused the bug to be re-opened, see[1]. I'm closing it again.
