Package: wine
Version: 1.0.0~winehq0~debian~4.0-1
Severity: normal
Wine audio set up locks up the PC if libwine-oss is installed (ES1968
Maestro card). With wine 1.0 wineoss.drv is installed automatically
(package from winehq)- selecting the winecfg audio tab causes the PC to
lock up.
Work around: Renamed wineoss.drv so it could not be found (mv
/usr/lib/wine/win
/usr/lib/wine/wineoss.drv.so.0). wincfg then selects alsa and audio
works great.

Wine isn't supposed to have the privileges to lock up the system hard,
so this must have been a kernel driver bug, not a Wine bug. Also, that
version is not an official Debian package version, and as such probably
shouldn't have been filed here. Closing this.
