Hi Maytham, * Maytham Alsudany <maytham@debian.org> [250722 20:08]:
I've been able to count unique[1] page visits for pages on wiki.debian.org for the past couple of days[2]. The top 100 visited pages are pasted below for those who are interested. -- Maytham [1]: "Unique" in this case means unique IP addresses. Some crawlers were requesting a single or few pages hundreds if not thousands of times, so results would've been skewed if non-unique visits were to be counted. [2]: Approx. from July 20 2025 00:00 UTC to July 22 2025 17:50 UTC.
349 ReleasePartyTrixie/Austria/Vienna
If this number is correct, then we have a counting problem. I created this page on July 19th, and I highly doubt it is this popular.
The more likely explanation to me would be that 95% of the 349 visits are from crawlers.
