Re: Content licensing
If we are to migrate the content from MoinMoin (and I really hope we do)
then we need to support multiple content licenses for different items on
the new wiki.
That said we can and should have a default, encourage people to use
that, and choose something DFSG free.
There's two directions of content-travel to consider:
1) outbound: people re-using wiki content. We definitely want it to be
possible for something to be adapted from wiki content and end up in the
packaging archive, so DSFG is really important IMHO.
2) inbound: would we want to adapt or derive content from elsewhere? In
which case, we may wish to choose a popular license that is most likely
compatible with stuff elsewhere
CC BY-SA is my preferred choice.
