verbose build logs

Hi together, 

I was approached during debconf about enabling verbose build logs. 

@DSA: this means that we need a bit more of space for our build logs.
Looking at the amount of space available (250g of 400g free) and that
our logs are compressed anyways, I think this is feasible. If you
disagree, please tell me.

Implementation plan: This needs some environment variable set for
debhelper, which would be ok for me. If noone disagrees, I tend to
just do that in buildd and distribute the new package.
