Sorry if this is the wrong place to tell this, but I couldn't find a better way and on #d-devel I was told wb-team would be safe. Anyway demosthenes strokes on the grub2 upload I made to experimental with the 3.0 (quilt) source format. Interesting to see how it fails: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ sh: gcc: command not found dpkg-source: warning: Couldn't determine gcc system type, falling back to default (native compilation) dpkg-source: warning: -sn is not a valid option for Dpkg::Source::Package::V3::quilt gpg: Signature made Tue Nov 10 18:11:58 2009 CET using RSA key ID D82FB9C8 gpg: Can't check signature: public key not found dpkg-source: extracting grub2 in grub2-1.97+experimental.20091110 dpkg-source: error: unrecognized file for a v2.0 source package: grub2_1.97+experimental.20091110.orig-grub-extras.tar.gz FAILED [dpkg-source died] /usr/bin/sudo dpkg --root=/home/buildd/build/chroot-experimental --purge groff-base libfile-copy-recursive-perl [...] Full build log here: http://experimental.debian.net/fetch.php?pkg=grub2&arch=i386&ver=1.97%2Bexperimental.20091110-1&stamp=1257899281&file=log&as=raw an up to date pbuilder build the package fine yesterday before I uploaded. And now an apt-get source grub2 with a deb-src experimental line in sources.list also succeeds. -- Felix Zielcke Proud Debian Maintainer and GNU GRUB developer
