But you see that this is the first of then many many packages which
will become removed because "you already removed packages, why not
this?"
This is a first case. if the people who want to remove as many
packages as possible they do not like (remember, there was no general
consensus or voting about removing packages which have 'offensive' in
their name, not checking for content) win, they will demand a lot of
more packages to be removed - because they can.
That is the main reason I say we have to revert the decision of the
release team: we have no rule which says _why_ this package has been
removed, we have no consensus about this decision and there is no way
to say before wether a package gets thrown out.
if we want to demotivate more people with their work, go ahead. but
then we shouldn't be wondering why we have no more new people helping
out.
