I don't think there's any other reason why you might want to do that in
public (provided it is done on purpose). However, having said that, I
don't see what's wrong with that; provided you don't put guns to peoples
heads and tell them to vote in a particular way, I'd say it's even
perfectly normal to try to make people agree with you, and vote the same
way you have done.
Of course, I don't think that showing your vote in public is going to
help you in that way (on the contrary, in fact); but that's a different
matter entirely.
