Right; I suggested '1.2 or below', but it indeed isn't of any value to
refer to versions that've been declared obsolete by the FSF itself
anyway. Besides, 'current' isn't very helpful if the FSF decides to
bring out another version some time from now.

Agreed, if by "in the beginning" you mean "in the summary" (which I
assume you do).
