The secretay's DPL Election announce

Hi,

I was wondering why neither of the two announce the project secretary has
written about the DPL election[1][2] has found their way to the
debian-devel-announce mailing list, as both the list archives[3] and my
mailbox[4] shows...

Also are we sure that anyone who may be interested is aware of the issue,
if he is not subscribed to debian-vote?
