Adding 'gwhois' to volatile
I'm the upstream and debian maintainer of the package 'gwhois', a generic
whois client/proxy. 'gwhois' contains a pattern table which it uses to
decide which server to query. This table will need updates every now and
then. I would like to add 'gwhois' to volatile, to be able to package
versions with updated pattern tables. This is currently really needed, as
the 'gwhois' package in stable just broke for lookup of .com and .net
domains (so this is a really severe problem).
Please let me know if i can include gwhois into volatile. As i'm currently
not subscribed to this list, please cc: me.
