My Mate startup:
• Power Manager - mate-power-manager
• PulseAudio Sound System - start-pulseaudio-x11
• Smart Notifier - smart-notifier
• SSH Key Agent - /usr/bin/gnome-keyring-daemon --start --components=ssh
• xbindkeys - xbindkeys_autostart

I do have NetworkManager disabled as I put config in /etc/network/interfaces.d/

Ditto: firewalld disabled
