For what it is worth, I just retired a Brother MFC-J870DW all-in-one
used by my mother because Brother only provides 32-bit drivers, and
not 64-bit drivers needed nowadays.
I replaced it with an older HP Color LaserJet M252dw. I used the
older HP model because the printer allows 3rd party toner cartridges.
Newer models, like the Color LaserJet 3201dw, have the "Dynamic
security enabled" printer, which does not allow non-HP toner
cartridges. (You can use 3rd party toner cartridges, but you have to
transfer the chip from the HP cartridge to the non-HP cartridge.
There are YouTube videos that show you how).
