At least half of Tor exit Nodes are run by State authorities. Anyone accessing a Tor exit node will automatically be put on a watch list by local authorities.
In my my view, if you have specific data you want to protect, such as passwords or bank details, then using an encrypted file e.g. a zip file is a good solution.
