libreoffice 7 problems

I'm not sure if this is appropriate for this list.

My laptop died and I have most of my files on this new (to me) laptop.

I run sid but got a laptop with stable. In updating to sid I ended upwith Libreoffice 7 and now I can't open my previous Libreoffice files.
