I have a TCL Flip 2 phone (model 4058G). I've just switched to this
phone, having gone through a few phones to find one I like. And, of
course, my calendar and address book are lost each time. I've been able
to hook up a USB cable to the phones and access pictures and music
files, but apparently the calendar and address book are hidden someplace
secret. On the older phones, I was able to configure the USB port as
mass storage and just copy files back and forth, but I don't see that
option on this phone. However, I found the gmtp utilitiy, which is able
to look through the phone and copy picture and music files using MTP.
However, I see no filesystem entries for the calendar and address book.
Is there a way to access these files, or are they customarily hidden in
a restricted area?
I'm running Debian Bookworm (12.11) on an Intel Core i5-4690.
I tried plugging my phone into my wife's Macbook, but got nowhere there
either.
