We had a (DSL) device fail here a while back, and the one they sent to replace it used that first one, which was not okay because that address is in use currently for a server on my LAN. And for some stupid reason you couldn't change it! Service terminated, and we webt with somebody else. The new device is set to something that works here, something I verified before the install tech left...
