Firstly you shouldn't be running as root. I'm surprised ssh lets you as I
thought it warns against that. You can boot locally in recovery mode
andxreser the password. If reachable fromthe internet it's quite likely
that those passwords would have been tried by an opportunist scriot kiddie
and the password even changed. Quite a terrible default policy by rpi that
isn't actually compatible with UK law for products any more.
