That's not enough because at boot time, resuming wants to take place
before we even try to find the root partition, so we need to find that
partition without reading any of the files in the root partition.

That's why that info needs to be copied into the initrd.img file.

Yup, the copy of the resume-partition info into `initrd.img` is done by
`update-initramfs`.
