I just added three new SSD and want to prep them for use.

I plan to use a script to do that incrementally. Given the disks show

This is not our job to do your work, you also need to do it yourself.

I'm not asking you to do my work--I'm asking for a second opinion

I forget about gparted, thanks. But one reason I'm interested in scripts is
to eventually build a new server with CLS scripts as much as possible. I'm
sure there is such a tool available, and I'm always open to suggestions.

Provisioning a server is an other thing.
You realy want to look at preseeding, Ansible, Opentoffu and Puppet or alike.alternative.

Another reason to use scripts and double check is old age, bad eyesight,
bad memory, and shaky fingers.

Just try to give us as much as context as possbile from the get go, this way, the archive will be better and you'll get a better answer.
Asking for help takes time.

P.S. I wish you lived in my area, I would probably probably hire you.

They are alot of students that would love to help you.
