For some reason Thunderbird os not allowing me to "Reply List"
dyndns and similar services map a domain name to an IP
address when they get a notification from your desktop (or
whereever the dyndns client is running) that the IP address has
changed.
If you are trying to ssh in during a time between when the IP
address has changed and when the client notifies dyndns, it will
fail.
The first questions, then:
what machine is notifying dyndns?
