Very adventurous indeed. Forky is the codename for the next Debian
release, which is currently in "testing". Since Trixie was just
released, this means the "testing" branch is at its most chaotic and
most possibly broken right now. Anyone running "testing" this soon after
a release is likely to encounter problems, and should be competent to
fix them or work around them as they pop up.
As far as Ctrl-V in terminals goes, I've never seen any terminal where
that would initiate a paste operation. Ctrl-V is usually bound to the
"lnext" (literal next) character via stty(1).
