After quick glance at it, I agree with your recommendation.

Just a note on

"*Recommendations*

Some file systems, such as logical volumes, span multiple devices. Red Hat recommends accessing these file systems using file system identifiers rather than device identifiers."

It was discussed earlier that UUID and filesystem labels should not be used for LVM and BTRFS volumes. E.g. /dev/vgname/lvname allows to avoid a pitfall with mounting a snapshot instead of actual filesystem.
