And IBM Midrange Systems, from the S/34 on, used EBCDIC-based terminals, using the 5250 data stream and Twinax cabling (earlier Midrange boxes used other terminal protocols).

Many years ago, I worked with Commodore Amigas. They had a number of facilities for using a terminal connected to the serial port for debugging purposes.
