Now that we're close to Trixie's release as Stable, it feels
appropriate to me to start posting install reports here, positive and
negative.

(As opposed to six months ago, when "Testing is broken!" is
something to be expected.)

I upgraded my second system and it had the same issue. I created a new user account and it was fine. I copied the "." files from the new user to my account and chowned them to my user account. I then logged into my user account and everything was correct. I am not sure which files in the "." were replaced. I also had no icons in icon only task manager.

Thanks
