In my employment history I learned a thing or two about helium as I probably tested the pressure regulatores that gave John Glenn his first rides, primarily that man has no material that will contain it, the molecule is so small it walks right thru 2" of monel metal, about 10% of it a day..

Stay on topic if you wish to have your issues solved.

Please, stop spreading this nonsense, you repeated it ~4 times over a couple of years and it is becoming boring. Helium diffusion is critical for vacuum systems. Proper high pressure vessel is able to store it long enough.

I admit it is hard to seal HDD tightly enough, but it is unrelated to your rocket science experience. I would not consider it for application other than extremely high load where drives are anyway thrown away every year or even more frequently.
