    While other participants suggested to use various Linux tools, I
    suggest to stay away from any update methods or flashing tools that
    are not the recommended way to update BIOS\UEFI by vendor/OEM of
    your device.
    Use only vendor/OEM supported flash programming software or
    BIOS\UEFI embedded flash programmer.
    You can use Linux tools only to make it possible to use
    the vendor/OEM recommended ways to update BIOS\UEFI, such as to
    create bootable USB drives, make FAT32 formatted partitions, etc,
    but not the flashing itself.
    Search for update instructions and BIOS\UEFI updates for your device
    on vendor/OEM web site only.
