FWIW, that was one of the first things I tried months ago. And again
yesterday. Nothing ever shows up. And just to double check my
sanity, I also add other event listeners that do happen to make sure
those are logged (and they are).

Another option is the web app catching up on a backlog of messages
suddenly streaming in. At least, if it has been a few hours (e.g.,
overnight or away from the computer).
