Well, I solved the problem (sort of). I installed 
Anaconda3-2023.07-2-Linux-x86_64.sh. This allows the installation of new 
python apps. I can also run some of the apps that I installed before 
Miniconda3 stopped working.

I would still to be able to use Miniconda3.
