   ls -lA EFI/BOOT
   ls -lA EFI/debian

residing on /dev/sda1 (128GB sounds like unreasonable large ESP 
partition, 0.5GB is usually enough, e.g. 550MiB recommended by 
https://www.rodsbooks.com/gdisk/advice.html#esp_sizing)

   efibootmgr -v
